  • 2011: 17th CEREAN Conference – FIABCI European Congress held in Sofia, Nikos Manomenidis Certified Residential Specialist Designation (CRS) Course held in Bucharest, on May 23-27 Train-the-Trainer session held, Strategic planning session facilitated by IRPF

  • 2004: 10th CEREAN Conference held in Riga, Latvia, 14-16 October, “New Real Estate Markets in the Central Europe” Alexander Romanenko CEREAN International Real Estate Course(CIREC) "How to do business in other countries?" - 3rd April
  • 2003: 9th CEREAN Conference held in Krakow, Poland, 17-19 October, New Chief Executive Officer for CEREAN hired. IRPF has already made two trips to the new headquarters in Poland to work on the business plan and help with the transition.
  • 2002: 8th CEREAN Conference held in St. Petersburg, Russia "Capital - The Lifeblood of The Real Estate Market: Mortgage, Finance, Safety of Investment" IRPF awarded 3 yr USAID cooperative agreement for $250K to assist in the continued evolution of CEREAN as a regional support institution. IRPF and NAR helped sponsor The foundation held a two-day workshop for association executives, introducing the Management Guide for Real Estate Associations, translated in Russian and Polish.

  • 1995: 1st Conference and transmission from Eastern European Real Property Foundation (EERPF) to Central European Real Estate Associations Network (CEREAN) held in Prague, Czech.
  • 1992: NAR, after USAID request created the Eastern European Real Property Foundation (EERPF), to facilitate development of an organized real estate industry in the countries that comprised the former Soviet Union


CEREAN stands for Central European Real Estate Associations Network, registered as a civic association, non governmental, not for profit organisation, concerned with the development of ethical and professional real estate markets in the member countries. The emphasis is also on promotion of home ownership in a democratic systém of government.
